Internships

Open internship positions include:

• Victim Advocacy / Case Management
• Forensic Interviewing & MDT Coordination
• Development & Fundraising
• Graduate-level Clinical Therapy

Child Life Volunteers

*Must be at least 18 years old 

*2 hour commitment per week for one semester required

• Play Patrol: Play is a big part of what we do and volunteers are needed to hang out and play with children as they wait for therapy or appointments.

• Processing Donations: The Center receives many donations including clothes, books, and toys. Volunteers assist in sorting and organizing.

• Assisting Staff: Assist office staff with their duties including but not limited to, making phone calls, making copies, restocking brochures, assembling information folders, etc.

Special Event & Group Volunteers

• Volunteer at a CAC awareness tabling event to include helping with a child craft or help at a CAC fundraiser

• Schedule a group volunteer activity to include donation sorting, general indoor/outdoor     clean-up and/or organizing, holiday decorating, or help at a CAC fundraiser

Projects vary depending on what we have available.

Days and times are flexible depending on the

project or event.

Fundaisers & Donation Drives

Organize a fundraiser or donation drive via your family, friends, school, church and/or workplace! We'll help promote the event (if applicable) and have staff present to share information about how your support makes a difference.

• Nourish & Nurture Snack Program - Continuous need for children when they're at the CAC's locations or during an emergency call - Acceptable items include: Water, Capri Sun, juice boxes, and individually wrapped granola bars, fruit snacks, crackers, chips, pretzels - for safety reasons, please no peanuts (link to ready to print flyer below)

• Wraparound Essentials Program - Items always needed on hand that the CAC has very little to no budget to purchase: emergency clothing/shoes, hygiene products, toilet paper, toys, and school, art, office & cleaning supplies (link to ready to print flyer below)

• Help for the Holidays - Help one or more children and families duriing our December holiday drive! Stay tuned for December 2026 sign-up!
